I’ve been having issues with my USB port on my elite controller for a couple months now, and have needed to take it in for warranty replacement. Usually, I always go to the retail store for this type of thing, as they set me up with a new controller very quickly. Unfortunately, because of this whole pandemic, all the Microsoft retail stores have been closed, so I said screw it, I’ll just wait until they open back up again to get it replaced. Well today I woke up to the unfortunate news that they wouldn’t be opening up again : ( So I’m trying to get the process done online, which means I have to register my elite controller. However whenever I try to enter the serial number, it’s says it’s not recognized. Is there any fix to this? I would greatly appreciate it!
