I do know it’s USB 3.0, but I want to know some more information about how much current & amperage of the front facing USB Port

To quote google: In the USB 1.0 and 2.0 specs, a standard downstream port is capable of delivering up to 500mA (0.5A); with USB 3.0, it moves up to 900mA (0.9A). The charging downstream and dedicated charging ports provide up to 1,500mA (1.5A).

On USB 2.0 minimum is 500mA but there is no actual limitation for the standard. Some motherboards deliver up to 3Amps per port.

If they're standard ports.

Well, they are gunna be either equal to or better, not less.

Thanks for the information!

I'm pretty sure that hasn't been disclosed. I'm curious, though - what are you thinking about doing?

I charge my portable chargers through the front facing USB port and it’s really fast, within 6 hours it can charge an Anker PowerCore 20100mAh from 0 to 100. I was curious as to how much current the USB port outputs because it’s quite impressive.

> 6 hours

> 20100mAh

You have the numbers you need to calculate the answer.

mAh = milliamp hours.

Divide the number of milliamp hours (20100) by the number of hours (6?) to get the milliamps, which is a measure of current.

Thanks for the formula

It shouldn't be charging as fast as you claim, based on the specs.

>Recharges itself in 10 hours with a 2 amp charger, phone chargers (generally 1 amp) may take up to 20 hours.

I've got the same pack, and I can only get it to charge fast if I've got it connected to my USB-PD charger. Otherwise, it takes forever.
